i have caught so many bass fishing at my cabin which is in MI by Indiana. they are everywhere, they are always by our jetskis and boats. i never thought about bringing one home., but i may start, to either see how they are or free food for the wolf. never know lol

but i am really looking for a bowfin in my lake, caught alot last time i went looking for em about a year ago, havent gone fishing since then. havent gone up to the cabin that much been o busy with work.

note, i do alot of catch and release. i will sometimes keep the 12+over for my uncle to eat

Quick update... There in the 100 gallon now. Four of them are already on market shrimp & freeze dry krills. One of the guys like to go stay by itself while the others group up in 4, he also has some kind of fish leech worm on him. Gotta get rid of those damn parasites. Anyways, yah here are the picture! The biggest one seems to punk the rest of the gang also.

Throw a castnet.. I bet youll catch alot. Ive caught 4 in one cast before. Theres a crab ton in florida

and ALREADY on market shrimp!? wtf ive had mine for 2 weeks and nothing! gratz man!

Hey DREAM-faw, use aquarium salt for the leeches. Two of my turtles had these, I dipped them in salt and the leeches fell off in seconds. I dipped everything from the tank and all the leeches fell off dead.

Thank you RaysOfSunshine for the tips. I was planning on doing that same thing but i dont have aquarium salt as for now. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to head out to the LFS. My brother was asking me to just take out those bass and put regular salt on them. Lol

And ill keep you guys update. Just ask anytime if you need help Im no expert though. haha

&G4seriesYah, they like em. First off they were in the 25 and the only food i gave them were market shrimp. They didnt take it for 2 days until the biggest one ate it out of all the other guys. As time flys, the fishes knew those were the only food. Krills were hard to get them on. Only the biggest one eats them.

Killed them parasites! Took them out in a cooler and put aquarium salt in it. After that i checked all of em and use a toothpick to take the fish leeches out.
