good luck and keep us posted. also, please explain how you know they are male and female, what are the differences?
Yeah especially with that size...and they are not sexually mature either, please explaining this.

Ive got 4 LMB growing out in a 55g, they really are fun to keep. 3 are going to a guy that works at a LFS and the one alpha that is about 8" is going into my new 350g with my peacock bass. Gonna be sweet. Good luck with that blue cat...they get real big, real fast. Should be fun to watch!

None of my three channels has grown very fast, they get fed a high protein diet daily, and have good water conditions, so It's no guarantee that they will grow fast (they range from 3" to 9/10") Their growth is nothing compared to my RTC and RTCxTSN hybrid.

the lmbs look rather faded and unhappy in those pictures, and you are going to need a much bigger tank than a 120. bare minimum for one is at least a 150, so yes, a pond would be a good idea. good luck with them!

nice!!!!

there faded cuz there in a tank with nothing but a filter lights and rocks

I started with 25, 1 inch little bass let them grow out to about 2-4 inchs the females stood out because they were about double the size of the males, i released all but three of the bass into my pond. The three i kept two females and one male. Lost one female not sure how during the frist week.

Heres a pic of a female I caught from my pond this fall

So you just sex them base on their size? IMO not good way to sex them at young age.

true its not the most accurate and im sure theres better ways but from what ive read females grow faster then males.
