I am doing the same thing legally as you although, my pond is just a little smaller than yours considering my property sits on a quarter acre lot. I just installed in-line heaters with new filtration pumps on my pond. I am keeping the water at a solid 80 degrees to see if I will be able to release my pbass into the pond next year without losing too much temp or water and hope my pbass don't die( I live a little north). But I definitely recommend you raise your bass to ensure that you have trophy bass in the pond. Too many fry will die prematurely either from other fish including bass or your overwhelming turtle population.
