if the pond is large enough and they get enough food, they can get over 24 inches and 10-15 lbs. I have four lmb that I put in my 2600 gallon wf last summer (4-5") and the female is now four pounds. The smaller 3 (12-14") swim around with my Koi and eat pellets, but the big one only eats live stuff. She has eaten two of my bull frogs that just showed up too! I'm planning on building a 2000 gallon wf just for her to see if I can get her over 15lbs.
