LOACH COLLECTION: Updated 10/24/08

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Considering their reputation for aggression, I decided it might make a good fish to clean up pellet particles at night in my cichlid tank. It wasn't big enough for the job. :(

It's Wednesday night, time for a reload. I picked up 5 new ones tonight. The first pic is two 3"ers. The 2nd and third pic are a bit unusual for me. Normally I wouldn't buy them at less than 3", but these two 1"ers were cheap and FAT. They had potential, so I added them. Last pics are my new Syncrossus Hymenophysa. The last one got promptly eaten, this one will get a better shot with the bigger clown loaches.

I love Wednesday, I have to toil in water test and guppy bagging misery, but I earn loaches by the hour! :headbang2

Amazing collection! Can we see full-tank pics of your loach tank? How about JDMANS?!

JDMANS tank was the TFH ad this month. My full tank shots never turn out, my camera sucks.

I would still like to see a shot of your 100+ loaches. :D

I think that it took Levi and I about 400 pictures of my tank and we ended up using one of the very first shots that I took. My computer is full of bad pictures. lol

It's Wednesday, time to reload again. I got 3 more out of the planted tanks, they started as 1" fish and are now 2.5" and looking great. The diet of snails bulked them up to that size in a couple months. The last one is a nice 3" fish. I cleaned the store out tonight as usual, there isn't a clown loach more than one inch left in the store. I snagged the smaller ones for $3 a piece, and the bigger one for $7. WILL WORK FOR LOACHES
