Ich does not appear magically out of nowhere. It is caused by introduction of unquarantined specimens. Do not move your loaches. Treat all your fish in the main tank with salt and heat.
I treated the tank with heat and salt two days ago and the next day all my fish were sluggish. I got worried and did a 50% waterchange today and all the fish appears normal. I move the 3 infected loach to a 10 QT tank to treat them. Did you know loaches are super hard to catch?:irked: I also blew a gasket chasing them for 15mins with the net. Eventually, I had to remove 3 pieces of decors and a few plants to clear the tank for an open battlefield. I was loosing patience then wanted to kill one of them by pressing the rim of the fish net into the loach and pinned it against the tank.:nilly: All loaches were unharm in the end.:D

You're doing it the wrong way. When you attempt to catch the fish, you are only stressing the fish more and more making them more vulnerable to ich and other health issues. With ich, isolation is out of the question. Once it is in your main tank, it will always be in your tank unless you complete the treatment course in 14 days. When you deal with ich, patience is the key.;)

Failing to quarantine is the number one way to get ich. The other one is failing to complete the treatment course of previous ich cases. You should have continued the treatment process. Ich cases get worse in the middle before they get better.

I stopped because it was making my other fish in the tank sick. I didn't want to wipe out the entire tank from three sick fish. Throughout my experience medicine have killed more fish than cure fish. The other two loaches should make it fine. I'll pick up more when my schedule free up.
