This is a voice for all of those of us who love our Monster Fish who just happen to be loaches. :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
Ewurm especially.:naughty:

Yes, I think I agree now as I see much traffic for dear old loaches.:headbang2

Loach activity as of right now

Very true, but this is double the amount of traffic the lungfish subforum currently has.:grinno:

Currently Loach Forum has 28 threads with action in the last 24 hours, by comparison our arowana forum has 30 threads.

So although the current traffic is not there, the potential is very high.

the site isen't difficult to navigate. You click on "Bottom Dwellers" and you'll find all your loach topics. There is no justification for another sub-forum. They certainly do seem to be the current fad right now but why does there need to be a sub-forum when the Bottom Dwellers forum works just fine? I honestly don't really like all these sub-forums. Angelfish and dicus are hardly ever talked about (even less then loaches) and yet they have their own sub-forum. Plecos and catfish should IMO be the same forum. The pbass and pike cichlid forums IMO should not even exist. I say do away with some of them, not make more.

I would have to say that I think it would give some of us Loach Enthusiasts a greater sense of belonging to MFK, if we had a subforum for all loaches. This rather than saying that we as enthusiasts do not warrant our own area to call home, because we do not have the numbers that say mbuna or Os have. This is just my .02

I love loaches, don't get me wrong, but this is MONSTER FISH KEEPERS. A loach is rarely MONSTER unless it is huge, or takes out feeders lol....

Plus, aren't the General Aquaria and bottom dweller sub forums for loaches?

I have waaaay to many loaches and I don't really see a need for a separate loach sub-forum. It doesn't matter if it's under bottom dwellers or general discussion, if I am going to reply...I will.

For me it's good enough to keep all discussion under "bottom dwellers".

Im in. Im tired of searching everyday for loaches. It would be much easier to just go to a sub forum.

www.loaches.com
It's the ultimate loach resource and forum, should give you that sense of belonging.

What searching do you have to do, as Ewurms graphic shows just about all loach activity is within the BD forum.
