Loach Tank Pictures

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine chewed through the base of a fairly thick piece of driftwood in short order. That piece had been with them for years.

An update:

The clowns have been very hard on the anubias and I'll be removing them soon to use in the two 40 breeders I'm currently setting up.

The pothos has held up well, no one messes with the roots and it's slowly growing.

As time has passed the clowns are not very shy at all anymore and have their daily routine of when to beg for food, when to swim around, and when to lazily perch themselves in their favorite spots throughout the tank.

I've switched over filtration from an FX6 and AC110 to a matten filter setup from Swiss Tropicals. I've basically switched the entire room to either matten filters or sponge filters.

The denison barbs are huge now and are doing great, there were some loses when I first got them but the 5 I have now are tanks. I've had some blue gouramis in quarantine for a while now and once they are added to the tank the stocking will be done on this tank.

I've been feeding NLS Thera A and NLS Algaemax. I mix 2/3 Thera A and 1/3 Algaemax in a empty container and feed from there so they get a mix. Occasionally (rarely) they get a market shrimp, bloodworms, or mysis shrimp.

Great looking tanks. That’s one special planted tank.
This is the tank my loaches are in currently, although it's not dedicated to them, they are the largest group in there but there is an eclectic mix of both fish and loaches.
