Loaches at petco

Wish I could add some more CL's to my tank but I'm afraid my two tiger datnoids would eat them. I can only put CL's that are at least 5 inches.

I went to petco and they didn't even have any.. wtf?? i will try another time at a different petco

A lot of petco's wont carry CL's. I asked the manager at my local one once adn she said she never caries them because they use tap water on their filtration system and the loaches always die from the crappy CA tap water. This may be why they are internet prices and hard to find in some stores.

More like petco doesnt know how to take care of loaches. I have yet to see a single healthy loach in Petco. I've only seen good loaches in very few local shops and one Petsmart.

I used to work at a petco a few years ago. At our store we weren't allowed to do price changes to match the website because apparently they purposely have lower prices on the website to encourage internet sales. Some stores may do the price change, but a lot wont.
