Heh, those dats look awesome with your clown loaches colors. Nice work!
Thanks. My wife said something that made me realize everything in this grow out tank has bars of some sort.

Wow very nice. Care to share some power feeding tips? What you're feeding and how often?
When I first got these little specks of Large eyed cartoonish fish, all I wanted to do was to get these guys to grow fast.
I did a search here on something like color and fast growth food or something like that and just started reading to see what everyone else used. I noticed everyone was basically saying to give your fish a "varied diet"... so I did.
The first product that I had my eyes on was Cyclops Eeze. Someone on here used this product religiously on their puny neon tetras and in like 2-3 weeks they got Huge for a smaller fish with brilliant color. I did some reading on this product and their nutritional report sold me on the first page. So I ordered this product and their wafers. These descriptions did it for me:
• Light perception*
• Vitamin A activity
• Electron acceptor
• Stabilization of proteins/membranes
• Stabilization of Chitin
• Pigment transfer
• Reproduction
• Chemoreception
• Reduction of Cholesterol
• Intracellular oxygen supply
• Growth enhancement
Then I was at the lfs just reading the nutritional values behind each product small enough for my fish to eat and started to use these also.
and then these...
and then these (Krill is freaking expensive

, Love my dog. I power feed them too

)
then these...
basically what I did @ first was feed them ALOT. No joke I was feeding them like up to 7x times a day for a month and a half.
Ofcourse with more feeding there is more maintenance then your average 50% water change a week. For power fed tanks I do 50% water changes usually 2x a week mininum. I did more water changes when I was feeding them 7x a day. Something like everyother day

.
It was really fun to feed them and watch their bellies get full like a they swallowed a marble. Then I found other things to do then to just watch them eat all the time. 7 became 5, then the 5 became 3 times a day. This is how I feed my growouts now and it works for me. I still enjoy watching them come up to the glass when they see me walk by. How can you not give them food when they are begging like a dog

.
Well this was a mistake for about 2 months at first but maybe this has something to do with how fast my dats grew?
Everyone on the dat forum suggested to use MP so I went to Sams club and bought a large bag of jumbo shrimp for the Tigers without thinking much cause these are the same ones that I eat all the time. Well, the shrimp that I was feeding them were very expensive. At that time i did not realize sams had a smaller raw shrimp in the freezer department where all the frozen boxed fish were. I was paying twice as much just for the size difference for my spoiled tigers for 2 months(+/- a week or two).
The photo's dont really do these jumbo shrimp justice but they are a really good size all the way around(jumbo shrimp in my hand, red bag is the stuff that is half the cost per lb.
My dogs always want to eat raw shrimp then I thaw these for my fish.
and ofcourse my Tigers loved crushed hikari massivore delite pellets. But now would rather take the whole pellet and run. Sometimes to mess with them I would only drop like 2-3 massivore pellets in and watch them just chase each other around

. They suck and run like this.
and the whole tank chases them lmao.
