I'm using a Canon Rebel EOS T1i, though I wouldn't recommend it. It's expensive and you can definitely get a better cam now at days for the same money. Heck you can get a T2i, for around the same and I heard that's an overall better cam. I still been using all my money on fish and food so I never got an overhead flash like Xander suggested. Otherwise I imagine the pics would look alot better.

Thanx alot for the compliment man! I do water changes every 2-3 days to keep it like that as well as 3 canisters. I really want to add a sump, U.V. sterilizer and a a DIY algae filter, but haven't got around to it yet.

Thanx man, the Armatus does rock, doesn't he. Lol! He scares the heck outta me though. His feeding response is highly aggressive to the point where he breaks the surface trying to grab the massivore stuffed shrimp, before I drop it. I actually have to try to distract him just to open the glass top. He's managed to get I'd estimate a good six inches out of the water at least lunging for food. For awhile he wound up flopping on my floor at least once a day. He's got it down now though, only breaks to the point he can control his fall back down into the tank. Still he's a torpedo and it's unsettling seeing him gun for the surface as I try to open the top for anything including maintenance.

Sorry their my pride and joy. The only fish I've got FTS is a Bocourti, the catfish(Acara/Shovelnose, Ornate, Bumblebee Jello), 1 Lyonsi growout offspring of my pair, a small Pearsei, 2 Blood Parrots and a couple of ball python morphs. PM me if interested in any of them.

The Arm holds his own pretty darn well, without doing any damage to them. He really only has a problem with my Black Wolf(Curupira) who he constantly shreds a fin or two. I'm pretty lucky with the combo so far, fingers crossed it's going on a year now they've been together. Though my Arm's definitely a one off, he grows pretty slow for an Armatus and doesn't seem to mind the Gar and used to get along fine with a Arowana, and thankfully no sudden death syndrome(knock on wood).

Thanx alot Jlnguyen! I appreciate that, though I desperately want to change the tank around. I gotta find the right background, substrate deco combo to take better pics. Plus as stated before I really need an overhead flash so the pics can really rock.
By the way all pics were taken with no flash and a completely manual on the fly setting. Still trying to work out the exact setting for the perfect pic.
