RED CLAW CRABS ARE FRESHWATER! THEY NEED ACCESS TO THE SURFACE SO MAKE A SAND SLOPE OR SOMETHING FOR IT TO GET TO! CRAYFISH WITH CRABS ARE ENTIRELY OK! IF YOU SEE YOUR CRAYFISH TRYING TO ATTACK THE CRAB OR ANYTHING ELSE NEAR HIM ITS NOTHING MUCH JUST THE OLD GROUCH SCARING THE CRAB OR FISH AWAY FROM HIM! NOT BEING SUCH A JOLLY OLD CRUSTACEAN THATS ALL

oh yea and if you do put them in brackish water...it really does them some good fo their life and other complicated things.Oh and if you dont give them any type of access for air they will just drown underwater. They go up on land to dry off and breathe and other things

I like crabs , but I can't put them in my tank as I don't have an outer surface for them to breathe. So I put a crayfish instead. (Anyway they clean waste materials as well don't they?)
