Lobster Tank

Need some advice on fish to put in a "lobster tank" I picked up cheap on craigslist. Seems to have came from a restaurant at one point (for lobsters of course...) Sorry I cant remember the dimensions now but it is 12 inches tall and when I did calculations it was about 120 gallons. It is rectangular shape. So for a 120 gallon it has a lot of surface area, but very little height.

I was thinking a couple FW stingrays? Those familiar with stingrays does this sound like a good size for them.

Any other fish suggestions for a tank of that size/shape?

I really like shellies and was considering a huge colony of shellies, but I have a bunch of 20 long tanks I am trying to figure out what to stock with and figure I will use at least one of them and maybe 2 for shellies.
 
definetly not even one stingray. they get way too big for a 120. as for fish you could put in there, maybe a pair of midas or two red devils. all depends on your personal likes and dislikes.

a huge colony of shellies would work, but i know if i had a 120 i wouldnt want bunch of small fish, id want a couple bigguns :D
 
le patron, with stingrays, gallonage is far less important than footprint, depending on the dimensions, that tank might actually work for some of the smaller ray speceis

name one that would do well in a 12" wide tank

i would put bichirs and rope fish in it or catfish or eels some sort of bottom feeders imo
 
go with shellies!
 
I have a buddy with a lobster tank. He got it from the restaurant he works at. He keeps motors in it. Its a cool footprint for them. The one he has is like the old perfecto flat-back hex tanks
