Lovely! What is the water quality like? Sadly here in "clean green New Zealand" many of our rivers/creeks/streams (including the one I posted on page one) are polluted from run-off from farming (mostly dairy) to the point where you shouldn't even swim in them, let alone drink the water.
I think your asking me? I've never actually tested the water but I might now just cause I'm curious. But there are beaver in the creek. Lots of newts and crayfish and small fish. I see crane/herons (not sure which but its kind of blue) from time to time. I assume the water quality must be semi decent. All the kids in my neighborhood fish and swim in it but I don't let my kids swim in it. as it has already passed through city limits by the time it gets to our neighborhood. Also its part of the Shenandoah river watershed and I'm not sure of the point of origin so I'm cautious due to some toxic dumping that made everything in the Shenandoah toxic past a certain area. The factory was shut down but the damage was done. Plus like most water ways there are trash pile ups in certain areas of my creek. Persia (my dog) and I have walked several miles in the creek itself when its low. I took that pic on one of those trips while she was trying to fish.
