There was a question about heating in the Raccoon land, the Pacific Northwest. Solar panels would be great for heating the 8,000-gallon outdoor aquarium; however, the aquarium gets a boost from radiant heat. When there is no sun the well-insulated aquariums glass roof will absorb heat and transfer it into the water. The aquarium water temperature is 78 degrees. When there is no wind and the ambient temperature is 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above the aquarium requires no supplemental heat. Last summer the heat remained off from May 10 to September 15. The temperature above the aquarium today is well above 90 degrees. There is a thin veil of clouds; again, will summer ever arrive?
