how soon do you think she will lay eggs again? the pair you sent me, layed eggs within a week of me having them, and they didnt get fertilized however, she has not layed eggs since. how often do umbee usually spawn?

The female will be ready to lay eggs approximately every 2 weeks. Mine are getting ready for their third spawn right now and they still have about a hundred fry from their last spawn exactly 16 days ago.

Adam, if you feed her high protein and at least twice a day. Then do water changes every 2-3 days she will spawn within 2 weeks. Remember that was her first spawn so don't get down on yourself, my female had her first spawn and ate the eggs. She'll spawn again for me soon.
