Lol managuense problem

So I bought my male managuense march 23, 2012 at an inch. Now he's a hair over 10 inches and out of nowhere is trying to attack my hand. I've fed him pellets and some other fish throughout his life, and he's always kind of attacked what I put in the aquarium.. My problem though is I can't stick my hand in anymore (to clean algae) and he hit the magnet so hard that the 2 pieces disconnect.. So how do you guys clean your aggressive fish tanks? Is there anything I can do to make him not try to bite my hand? His teeth have gotten pretty big and I definitely don't wanna be bitten by him.

and i thought my monster 1'' neon tetra was nasty
 
I just stick my arm in and clean it he's still small enough he shouldn't do damage to you if anything just pin marks from his teeth the only fish to ever keep my hand from going in my tank was my old 16 inch dovii i did it once and he tour me up since that day i used the stick algae scrubber on his tank but if your scared get an algae scrubber on a stick and that's should work fine

At 10" That Jag will prob draw blood still. My 8" Trimac will rip pieces of a flesh off she bites with the intent to thrash something off.
