Leporinus can be agressive yes, so are cichlids. Ive had nothing but incredibly positive results keeping solo leporinus's in cichlid communities for years. They are one of the few non cichlids that blend very nicely in cichlid communities because they are able to defend themselves. As far as what I said would attack the Oscar, I said a red devil would attack the Oscar for sure. If you dont think so than maybe you should try it and see what happens. Just make sure you have an extra tank to put the pieces of your oscar in to heal when the damage is done, thats if you get him out of there before your Devil kills him. I also said that with a 4 inch Convict and a 4 inch Green Terror in a tank togeather with a 1 inch oscar, that one of them would probably take it out. Oscars are NOT tough fish just big fish, a 1 inch oscar is not exactly a force to be reckoned with, if you dont think a Con or a GT 4 times bigger than a baby oscar is capable of offing it, then I dont even know what to say to you lol Just last month my 4 inch con PUNKED my 8 inch Jack dempsey, and you dont think a 4 inch con can hurt a 1 inch oscar? Seriously? As for adding a small pim or syno catfish, I wouldnt recommend adding anything small with an Oscar and a Jag in the tank unless you are just looking to feed your larger fish lol
