All those fish would be great. The Freddy and Loisellei may be outclassed by the Jag and Mota aggression wise. Parachromis tend to focus aggression on other Parachromis.

and alright do you think there is anything i can replace those two with?

You really like using 'lol' don't you? ;)

Anyway, if you can get a 300, get a 300. Do you have any space constraints, or is this just a very early idea for something way in the future.

exactly my family is getting the whole basement redone so the only real constrant is width off the wall

all then in a 265G would likely work, if anything the oscar might be bullied/killed

alright lol i was not expecting that at all. i thought there was only going to be a few fish of that stock but i will defiently look in to it. So for aggro cichlids height and length are the two key factors?

on glass cages they have a tank that is 300 Tall 96x 24 x 31 Tall

would that be fine for all these guys?

If that is an option, go for it. I'm guessing the less than 30" is referring to width right? Do you mean it can be up to 30" or it has to be less than 30"? I'm also guessing that it's because of the width of the door? A 96" x 24" x 31" is an awesome tank and will almost certainly work for your stocklist but there still might be some trial and error with certain fish. One more thing, that tank will limit you if later you decide you want an arowana or some of the other really large growing fish. If you can get a 96" x 30" footprint now that is the tank but if not, the tank you're looking at rocks too.

lol:D yes its width and it has to be less then that. And i think that is the biggest i can go. And i think thats the way ill go. So scratch the oscar, the fredi, and the loiselli, the stock would be

Amphilophus Lyonsi
Parachromis motaguensis
'Cichlasoma' trimaculatum
Vieja argentea
Amphilophus festae
Herichthys cyanoguttatus (looking at ids that is the one i have)
Parachromis managuensis

Anything i can add to that stocklist?
