Is this the same with Oscars? The difficulty of breeding them I mean.

In my experience once you have a pair just make sure you have target fish and something like slate for them to spawn on and your good. Feed them food with protein and your good really.

Oscars are easy to breed once you have a pair. The long finned have not been available very long compared to the regular guys. When something is new there is always a premium.
