Poor guy kamfa, his wound was so dangerous and its really good news to hear that skin is coming
So are u treating him putting salt over the wound or any special medication?

And yeah! Thai imports are always good FH, the quality one and hopefully stays healthy! This was my first experience importing from Thai and got good one!!!

No medications just simply clean water and salt treatment. He's fine now just waiting for the red of his skin to come back. I'd say 40 percent came back

Well flesh wound healed and it's just the slim cost and and now skin that needs to be grown. I just poured salt into his tank and on his kok. I don't rub anything on. A lot of fish get hurt and heal by themselves. Im actually get lying rid of my male big red devil so I'm putting him back in the 200 gallon and monitor him.

I know you are missing him now, and I get your feelings as my first flowerhorn died, and I was about to cry!!!

We care for him, we raise him from baby to the adult personality and one sad day comes when there is a sad ending, its the painful story for all FH lovers....! RIP Pumpkin!!!


By the way, He transformed beautifully, He was indeed a great fella, everything was cool in Pumpkin!!

How he picked up the Red and head, It shows your great care and love!

Oh, I cried for months!

Whenever I came home, I'd walk up to his tank and he'd go crazy the minute he saw me. Plenty aggressive outside the tank...lots of glassbanging...but if my hands were in the tank, he became a huge puppy dog...the stories I could tell you about this fish...just sooooo much personality!!!

Back when MFK had their old server, I had an album full of his progress pictures. It was amazing to go through them and watch his transformation...especially the growth of his kok.

I now keep fish that aren't so interactive...5 red belly piranhas. They don't give a rat's ass about me...LOL...I mean, I'd be sad if one of them died but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it...

Indeed they become like a family memeber in no time! And thats their love and kind nature! But yep, The pain is huge when they go!! And You said you could not sleep foe nights shows the affection to your Pumpkin!! But things must move on.. And hope you can share more pictures about his stages of life whenever you find them!!

Also We would love to see your current members pictures too!
