You tried any unusual prey like perhaps fish yet? Sometimes the answer will be some food or trick you'd never have guessed would work. Dipping the food in either a raw egg or chicken broth works reliably with some species, that would be another thing to try.

Hard to say. She always looks gravid and have been disappointed before.

If you have not already, look at some of Carl Kauffeld old stuff. He had some great ideas on getting stubborn hots to start feeding.

that and "snakes and snake hunting", "snakes and their ways" and some of his writings from the American Midland Naturalist are great and it makes me cringe at how we had to re-invent the wheel on a number of his ideas and techniques that he came up with in the 30's and 40's.
