Long Overdue Collection Update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks guys. Doing a water change at the moment but I'll try and upload some more pics a little later

Although I do have some comparison pics (disturbing or interesting depending on the person). One of the cons of having a large tank is controlling how much some fish eat. Here's a couple pics of my smaller ansorgii before and after digesting her meal. image.jpegimage.jpeg

I really like your ansorgii man. How big ?

I thought i rwad somewhere that their patterns fade with size/age any truth to that ?

Any pics of the sp. Milo and sp. Dabola

Thanks for the Teugelsi head comparison. Cant believe the difference, CB look like completely different fish by the head shape. Would be interesting to also see a side by side with body profiles. Always seem WC were more elongated, whereas the CB while still long looking seem to be slightly shorter looking. Also body shape with WC looking uniform in thickness with almost a ropefish quality about them and the CB seeming to have a more bulky front that tapers down toward the tail.

Anyway, enough of that! Cool pics of your fish!

after I had heard that Asia had CB teugelsi a couple years before us, I was always doubtful that the teugelsi sold over here were actually F1 and F2. This headshape difference only reinforces my thoughts. I'll Definitley try and get some body shots
