Here's a full tank shot from a couple months ago.
If anyone local wants a couple H. carpintis "Escondido", they're free.
Unfortunately pumpkinseed out here are an invasive, we got them sampling a slough along with a lot of other non-native fish. I did choose the most colorful out of the dozen or so we caught.

Wow. That pumpkinseed by far outstrips any of the ones I've seen caught locally up here.

Great looking fish. Is that Midas the one you got from Rapps a while back? If so he turned out great. I thought he was in a solo tank?
It is the same midas. He was solo for almost two years, but we bought a house and could finally "upgrade" and didn't feel like two large tanks in the living room was "normal" so I've just got the one 220 now. He's played nice so far, we'll see once the other fish catch up in size.
