I got burned up pretty bad for trying to put a black arowana with a Jardini. Everyone spoke the truth but they said it in such a way that made me angry at first. It was more like a roast than it was help. Now I'll never know if it would have worked but I'm too scared to try again. What Knightmare has been saying is true, of all the members here how many can actually vouch for a 200+ gallon tank? Not many. I personally have 4 fish tanks, 10, 29, 55, 180. If you add them all together HEY I have a monster tank. But sadly the truth is I don't have a monster 240(yet) and I probably won't for a while(college doesn't pay itself). I do love my arowana very much and if ever I should be unfit to care for them, as much as it would hurt I'd probably sell them. I just don't think you should judge someone's capability to care for fish immediately after hearing that his or her tank is a good 50 gallons or more smaller than the expected.

Against all sane advice, I have them both in the tank atm.

5 people advising against and you had already done it. You seem to be the type as I was speaking of before. You'll just keep asking the same question over and over until someone give you the answer you need to justify your fishkeeping.
