Seems to be the same tank just at different growth stages...

The low height tanks make wonderful planted tanks. I have a 72inch by 30 inch deep by only 16 inch height and it is great. I can use two 4 foot dual t8 shop lights and grow just about any plant. I have a few 33 gallon tanks (4 foot) that make excellent planted rainbowfish and tetra tanks.

I also have a few odds and ends that were designed for reptiles, very low height that are great for killifish and small tetra's.

Dustin on Dustins fishtanks on youtube just did a fishroom tour of Mike Hellweg and he has several small (height) tanks used for killifish and teta's also.

How many gallons is that tank and what is the glass thickness?

I've decided to pull my 20L out of the mothballs and set it up as a temp tank while I clean my 12-18gal fountain tank. I haven't seen my 7 Rosys in it for about 7 months now. I put 2 common goldfish in it a month ago and haven't seen them either since I first put them in it.

While the 'tank' part itself(fountain) is clear enough to see in, the drip or running water part is nasty with algae. I did this cleaning at the beginning of 2015 and ran bleach through it to clean it up(see outdoor pond section for thread).

I might start this project on friday.

I didn't appreciate these types of tanks until I got into plants. I've been wanting a 48x12x12 for a very long time now.

Despite our logo, "bigger is better'. These small tanks do have a certain appeal to them.

Not sure why the double picture keeps happening...I've gone in and deleted it but it keeps showing up. Can a Mod delete it for me? Thanks...

Looking forward to updates on this, and lol in regards to the big fish little fish thing; yeah I'm not much of a MFK in all honesty lol, though it's the attitude ;)
