Hey all, I been thinking that I should post up an update as to what I am doing with my fishie world so today seemed as good a day as any.
Especially considering the wonderful hookup a good friend of mine who is reducing his tanks gave me tonight. He was running quite the nice little fish room in his basement but decided to reduce it a bit so that moving would be easier to do.
I went over tonight to visit with him and basically came to an agreement to take the rest of his fish off his hands so that he can proceed with emptying and selling off his tanks. I told him when the time comes that he sets back up his 180 that he can come shopping at my fish store from the tanks that I have here in the restaurant or any other tanks that I have set up at that time.
I did not have my camera at home to take pics of the fish that went into the 65g in my living room, so I will have to post those up at a later time.
I did though take some pics of what I just put in my 8ft 300g here at the restaurant. My sons are gonna go nutso when they see these here tomorrow after school.
First the wood. I took a couple shots of each piece from a different angle and put the pop can in for size persepective

#4 I did not take a pic of because I put it the tank at my house.
The tank these fish went into has 3 african walking catfish so they will fit in just nice. I really have no idea as to the type of bichir they are with the exception of 3 of them. At any rate here are the pics of them placed into one of my fish tubs for size reference. The tub is 14 inch wide and 22 inch long.
Now some in tank shots.
Will post up the tank rearranges I do this weekend, as I go to pick the rest of the fish up Friday night after work.
Another cool thing that happened today is another friend walked in and gave me 2 nice pieces of drift, a nice looking plastic tree trunk and a new magnetic mag float tank scrubber.
What is really cool about is that I am going to be able to rehome some fish with some of the people I know with no cost to them.
I love this hobby and how it enables us to be a blessing to others.
