It's too dark for my taste too, I like light colored sand but the fish look great. Is it just me or do they seem to be breathing heavy? Might need more aeration?

Yea some were... they just ate. I've been thinking of a way to lighten up the tank for about a month or longer now... I really hate how some of my fish are so dark that they blend right in with the back ground!!! I was gonna buy some lighter colored gravel, but it will just get covered over time with the sand. I think I might need to take out my current sand and replace it... I wanted to avoid that!!! Anyway I'm rescaping my tank tonight... maybe I'll take another vid in the next couple days?? Thanks for the reply.

you have some nice fish, i think a lighter tank would show them off better. sorry, not trying to rag on you about it, just saying. you have some real bruisers in there, hope they continue to get along
