When they're added to the main tank. Post some pics of them. I've only see the long fins that have damaged fins and are sickly looking at a petsmart.

A lot of good oscar strains are hard to come by now. I still remember seeing a what they called "ruby oscar". Bright pink eyes with pinkish coloring on the tiger stripes instead of orange. Very unique, and they go $45 ea as juvies. Can't find them anymore...
I'd go for it if its a long tail...10 gal for now, as long as you can upgrade within 2 month you'll be fine. Make sure your upgrading bigger than a 55
