in front of my cichla tank,IL
would a longnose hawkfish be ok in a 24-29gallon nanocube?
and do they need any special care and wat level of experence is need to take care of these fish?

i would say yes if it wasn't a cube.. a regular 29 would be absolutely fine
but i think you could manage in a cube

they are pretty hardy just don't keep them with smaller shrimp and small fish, they are called hawks fro a reason

would i be able to also get a flame angel to go with the longnose and wat else would i be able to get to go in the tank cuz i am gonna get a 24-29gallon cube once i finish with my 210 setup

eh...
maybe like a cherub angel, or flame back.. that's kind of maxing out the tank though

id avoid an angel honestly. The hawk as said will be fine. Stick with a clown and maybe a yellow coris wrasse AKA canary wrasse. That combo would look pretty cool.

If you wanted more fish, id forget about the hawk and angel, and stick with smaller gobie species and such. This will give a bit more activity and you wont lose spots for like sexy shrimp and smaller inverts like that.

A couple of ideas for ya.

Ive got a longnose in my 35G that lives great with a pair of percs and a strawberry jawfish... they are really active and have a lot of character, mines eating well on formula 1 fish flakes.

i would love to see pics of that

if you still wanted a hawkfish (if it wasn't just the longnose part that attracted you) you could look into a pixy or flame hawk
they stay smaller and are less likely to eat your inverts

yeah it was the longnose that caught my eye i just like how it looks overall its a cool looking fish and i saw it at the lfs and now from that day on i was like i must have this fish looks awsome but i might b getting a 55 or 75gall tank from some1 i know so mayb set that up for SW if i go with that wat would i be able to get to keep with longnose hawkfish?

most definitely.. as well as the flame angel.. and other fish
