WOW! I have seen mostly pictures of Asian Arowanas being harvest but never a picture of a silver! Just thought I share what I found on Google.

A lot of babies that will probably end up dead unfortunately. They eat them down there and when they find a carrying female, not only do they get to eat, or sell the meat, they get to sell the babies that she's carrying to the fish stores and shippers. Not quite sure what the arowana population is like, but if it's dwindling, I can see why.

so sorry but I believe that fish is a part of their diet there so i simply can not agree with you
