I really dig your JD's. They look really nice. Just start doing some Water changes more often, decorate your tank how YOU like. If you like the castles and all that, and it isnt harming the fish in anyway, keep the decor you think looks nice. I'm sure you get this settled soon enough....

Last post got deleted for offering valid criticism.

I have nothing against the man himself.

I am just not a fan of the lack of attention he pays to advice given to him in threads of his, the amount of threads he creates for no real reason, and the lack of care that goes into all posts that he makes.

I know I am not the only one. Because I regular this forum and have done so for a couple of months now, I would love to see this improve for both his own and the communities sake, as well as my own.

Sure I'm stirring the boiling cauldron here with my reputation and the moderators of these boards, but I would really like to see him sent a PM about putting a little more time and care into his threads and replies.

That's all. I'm not going to say in anything in any of his threads from this point onwards.
 
if you do change the gravel dont go for black if you have anything breeding. or maybe it is just me, but i have a pair of convicts (male and female) in a tank by themselves. Their tank has quiet a few plastic plants, a log tunnel thingy in the middle, and a tiny treasure chest that they moved to the front and tipped over. all this with black gravel. They layed eggs on the treasure chest, and i have been watchign the eggs develop, nad all of a sudden there is no fry. either i cant see them or they got aten but the black gravel makes it hard to see. i have a 50 gallon that has multiple color gravel tho. it dont look bad, but i love lots of plants and it just aint working. give your cichlids more places to hide, such as shale or ect rocks stacked up on each other. it may calm them down a bit and give the weaker ones a place to hide. good luck
 
Seriously guys does anyone live close enough or willing to make o roadtrip ? I have a 55 with stand black gravel and lids i will give him .I cannot afford to take time from work or i would . Im just gonna make a sump or give it away anyway ....Tax season is great so how bout it heres a pic not the 125 lol Ill even throw in an ac 70

enough of this thread already. hes posted a few times with questions like do you like my tank and what should i do with it and should i buy more fish. the awnswers are there. no they dont like the tank and yes you should get a stand that holds the entire tank and no you shouldnt buy more fish unless you can provide a bigger home for them when big. i for one dont care how your tank looks, its up to you on what you like, i also dont care if you put 15 juvi cichlids in there as long as you know they will get big and you can afford to buy bigger tanks in the long run. if you can afford to upgrade for these fish then great im all for it but if not you only brought these kind of awnsers upon yourself. good luck
