Look at my vultures.....in Ohio?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We have over 20 of those that roost over night in a tree just down the street. It's pretty crazy in the morning when they all take off and start circling trying to gain altitude.

And yes, they are scavengers, but they will very aggressively protect any food they find. I imagine dead creatures are kind of few and far between.

you should lie motionless in the middle of the field to see if they would approach you. Make a video. LOL.
They only eat dead things. So Im good. :)

wow its a whole pack
I read on wiki(which is probably fasle) but they will travel and chiil in packs of up to 100!! I think these four must be finding food here and the tallest barn is perfect to chill on and get warm and survey the land.

Next times a fish dies, which is hopefully never but if it does. I'm going to have to take it outside for the vultures.........then run as they swarm. lol:ROFL:

Yes those ARE Vultures, they are Turkey Vultures and we have them up here in Michigan too. Wildlife seems to be making quite a comeback in this country and thats a very good thing. :nilly:

There are tons of them around where I live (Texas Hill Country). Plenty of road kill for them to feast on.

One flew straight into my truck grill when I was going 70 mph. They turn into a cloud of black feathers when they do that.
