Look at the guy I caught last week.

I found him one morning in a spring near lake mead in S. Nevada.
We went out to catch bullhead cats and he was in a shallow nearby. Would have liked to keep him but I just don't have a tank big enough for him.

I am sure he would eat up my Aro and pbass pretty quick in the 140.

those are all over in the ponds near my apartment. Moved one out of the road the other day that was easy 10" acrossed

saw 2 of them swimming around at roger springs last time i went. last i heard they closed it down to do some remodeling or something.

I just got another one in the same place.
My son caught him by accident fishing. Took 20 minutes to get the hook out but we took him home and put him in a 300G tank with some crays, guppies and one 3" Jag.

So far its a great pet that eats market shrimp and guppies swims around like a sea tortoise.

I noticed Lucky Fish in Vegas had some small ones in a display tank but I did not inquire as to the price.
I heard they can be aggressive towards other SST so he will most likely be a loner in the 300.
Really fun pet to watch and feed.

And hold, as hatchling its bites don't hurt that much so we can hold it and its ok i it bites...wouldn't want a bite from your monster

Everything at lucky fish is way expensive. There are alot of soft shells in Lake Las Vegas too. Along with carp, bullhead, bluegill, bass, convicts and ive even seen oscars in there.
