Not saying the photo itself isn't real, but the image has been Photo-chopped. The guy's right shoulder has been outlined in black, the left shoulder is "smudged" and he has webbing between his fingers on his left hand. It almost looks like someone put their image on top of someone else's.

The black outline on the right shoulder is from the fish tail if you look closely.
