It's not that all disimiliar from several species already available to the hobby. Cr. sp. "Tapajos I", Flame Pike & Cr. lugubris "Atabapo" both look very similar to this fish.

Indeed. Also a lot of pikes have potential to look like this but such bright colors are only easily accomplished in breeding form or with low ph tannin stained water.

Who says their not available.....BTW....it is a great looking pike!! Thats just a tip of the ice berg though.... There are so many different species, and different variants within some species...it just never ends!! There are new species still being discovered as well. Gotta love em!
