They are nasty cat killers that now have a far wider range than they did 100 years ago,they are actually north americas only (sp?) marsupial
They are the only native species of north american marsupial but there is an established colony in Atlanta, Georgia of south American mouse opossums, they are cuter.
ive seen a tv clip of one trapped in a cupboard. it went absolutely bezerk when animal control showed up.
