Ive not had it myself but have seen it in the shop, you can manually remove it easy enough.

Thanks for the comments.. Like I said it came from my african tank above 8.0 pH to my piranha tank at like 6.5 pH.. Good to know it is not harmful... I tried cleaning it but the film returned.. Its been about 3 days since the film has been present and its almost all gone... Cloudyness in water went away to, all about time. Thanks again.

I've had it in the past of pieces I've used in tanks. I remember it not be harmful.
