black. with rockwork and lighting that isnt really bright... i think that would look cool.
 
Haven't seen them on all black, the blk. and wht. eco-complete makes them stand up pretty nice.

Are you planning a substrate switch this summer?
 
Well I am going to be switching around some things and setting up a sump on the135, I figured since I am putting the fronts in and painting the background and putting texas holey rock. I think black would look nice.

Black i find makes the blue much more vivid in ordinary fronts and spectacular in fish with the darker blues all ready present. Personnelly i would just be careful that if i had the marine glo or moon type lighting that I didnt go overboard with the black sand and black background with very dark lighting. Maybe run some lighting that has a combonation of both blue spectrum and daylight in it.
