if the people in China can eat this fish, I'm sure it won't kill some of the going hunger population on the western hemisphere either if they ate it.

the media tends to blow everything out of proportion, nature always has its way of balancing itself out. We, humans have placed too much importance of our own existance.

if its hurting the fishery, isn't it creating fishery at the same time?

i know it is bad for native fish, but if you told people in china or some african nation about this problem, they would jump up and and down from happiness. Free food for everyone. you dont even have to catch it. it jumps in you boat by itself.

I have a great idea, SELL FISH TO PIG FARMS here in US. just think how it would lover pork prices.

Its never the fishes fault because of some stupid humans error.

I don't know if it would put that much of a dent in the carp problem but could'nt these fish be fed to some of the carnivorous animals in some of our zoos?

anything, I've said this years ago, even made into fish food, could turn into an industry itself!

looks like perfectly good wolf chow. i would need about 2 of them per meal for feeding the wolves (and their domesticated cousins).

i don't suppose they are contaminating the rivers and lakes in AL?

Apparently they are doing pretty good around my area lately, running big nets in the river and scooping them up, returning the natives to the water and selling them for animal food, and the river hasnt been as bad as it used to where I live....went out the other day and they arent flying everywhere like they used to, when I say used to I mean by the hundreds jumping at your boat, now your only getting maybe 100 or so within a 5 mile stretch, so there is some improvement. Talked to DNR around here and they say said they are giving it there best efforts, and it actually looks like it might actually be paying off!
