Ok here´s something really odd: a two headed crested:screwy:

never seen that before.

that bearded ragon is gross, you can change the color but not the body type. They had scales for a reason. I think it looks terrible.

That royal seems to be an axanthic clown. My basis on this is the head pattern mainly and general colors of the young ball.

Also that does not look like a beardie at all to me, seems to be a uro morph.

Nah, its a beardie. I remember couple years ago on beardeddragon.org some guy was talking about his project. Thats one of his guys. He calls them Leatherbacks, or something weird like that. Stirred up alot of commotion on Beardeddragon.org as well.

Personally, I'm not a fan of them. But ah well, let me see if I can go dig up that thread...

The leatherbacks are heterozigotic for of this gene. This is a silky back or just silky and is the homozigotic for this "lack of scales"gene:WHOA:

alien lookin things
poor beardie
what site did u find this at?
Cant find the site (its one of the breeder pages at kingsnake) but I remenber that they said this is a female dragon and represents in the us one of the just 2 blood lines of silkys. As Ive said before I dint posted because I liked it, just thinking was interesting and unusual. The guys said that this was a perfectly healty and happy dragon:confused: they also said that its skin wasnt as delicate as it seems:confused: So what I really think about this you guys ask me? Well I think this souldnt have happen in the first place. Lets think for a moment that I was the breeder and that in one of my clunches of eggs a baby silky came out. What I would do? Well I would never sell him ,I would keep him as a special pet and let him live a happy live but without breeding him:D as I expect any consciencious breeder to do. Obviously this isnt the case any more and more and more silkys and leaterbacks are being breed. What should we do? Should we stop breeding them and let this line die? My opinion is no. We cant redo past and this animals have the rigth to exist like any other. Many times we think a animal doesant have life quality because it has a certain caracteristic imposed to him by selective breeding (say the long fins and feathers of fancy fish and birds ) but often this isnt a big deal for the animal himself. This guys say that this female is just like any other beardy. Im I encoraging more mutacions and stuff? Hell no:grinno: In fact I think that the selective breeding of gold fish should have stoped a long time ago, long before the first celestial or buble eyes had born:screwy: What Im triyng to say is that this bearded dragon mutacion isnt the worst stuff outthere. If you want to finish them, then youll have to endup finishing also fancy gold fish, hairless dogs and cats, toy horses ,etc. The problem of this is that some people are willing to pay big bucks for them. After all if this animals are inferior to a normal beardy it makes sence that they should be cheaper. Im not against breeding this guys but the price tag should be well bellow what is asked. 500 dollars for a baby of this guys is just insane:screwy:

Actually, it probably should be higher....I mean, Piebald Balls are what, 5k? And they are more common then these dragons...
