Look what I just got at walmart..

well what is the tank they are in like?
it is best to keep them in tanks with no black background and you need lighter colored gravel or else they will dull down like they have now
 
I know about the tank decor, but they still had more vibrant colors after 2-3 days when they first settled into my tank than they do now. I'd honestly prefer ugly fish over an ugly tank. No clown puke gravel for me.
 
it's confirmed.. 50% waterchange and without food for 2 days and his head popped. If you look close you can see where it splits off from his head and starts to develop.

here was the other keeper, he's not as personable.. One of the pearliest flowerhorns I've ever seen though!
