Look What I Just Got!!!

Yeah. It's kind of cool to have a long tank. My daughter is already picking out what to stock it with. I decided she is old enough to have a big tank. Right now she has a 10 gallon guppy tank. She wants a couple of bichers, some angel fish, cory cats and a small school of neons. What do you guys think? The Doctor.

Nice pick up! BTW...... Angels and Bichirs eat neons. Full grown Bichirs eat Angels, Neons, and Corries too! Angels would look the best in a tall and long tank, preferably well planted!

i got a 55 gallon for free 2. i was at walmart sadly looking at all the dead fish when this lady came up to me and asked me if i wanted it. I said sure and picked it up with a wooden stand, two filters, and a bunch of fish

are you measuring the glass or the black trim? never heard of All-Glass making this size before.

The measurements are what they lady told me. When I get time later, I'm going to measure it myself. Actually, I've never seen a 55 gallon with those dimensions. She told me that it was an All-Glass aquarium but I couldn't find the name on the tank. However, the lights and canopy says All-Glass. Anyways, let me measure it again and I will post the dimensions.

ya birchirs and angels arnt the best for this tank. go with a huge school of tetras, a big school of corys, and maybe 3-4 gouramis, and well planted. I was going to set something simular in a way smaller tank, but with less of each.

When my daughter told me what she wanted to stock it with, I hesistated to respond to her because I knew that some of the fish wouldn't go well together. Most of the fish will be lunch. Anyways, I talked it over with her and we're going to get a school of tetras and cory cats. Can someone tell me how many of each and if they can think of other fish that will go well with it.
