Yea, I was thrilled. The lady the front came from is moving and she has two more she might give me if she doesn't take them with her :D Both in the 7" range.

And I was doing some looking around on the web and realized that it's and Orange Seam Pleco L-081, such a beautiful fish, too bad it hides all the time, I may move it to my planted 40 gallon tank as it only gets to be about 4" as an adult. It wouldn't have as many places to hide and from what I was reading about it it'll eat dead plant matter but won't touch live plants. hmmmmm

I've already got 2 8" common plecs in my 125

I'm not a pleco expert by any means.. but if it is a plant eater, you might want to try to get put slices of Zuchini on a vege clip (suction cuped to the front of the tank). That gets my plecos out in the open. They will startle easily and run away and hide if you don't approach the tank slowly and quietly..

Might let you get a better look at him.

Watch out for the commons harrassing the Orange seem. He would do much happier in the planted tank

beautiful find! only 50 bucks, thats a steal i bet! i love that pleco..

Thanks!

I'm going to move the OS into my planted tank soon, the commons are leaving it alone and it's started to come out a bit more. I'll get a better side profile picture sometime today.

I 'm interesed in a planted tank too, but I'm a bit worried about the time and energy I'll spend on upkeep...GREAT FISH
