from the looks of it though, the Lates has a better chance of being eaten by the datniod than outgrowing my tank....

that turtle used to be the coolest/cutest thing.... now he's just annoying and eating up the worms and shrimps instead of the dandelion and grape.
for some reason his shell is all jacked up (getting better though), and yesterday I discovered a hole on it.... maybe my loaches stabbed him?! :22_yikes:

Dont worry about the skin... its normal. Itll go away. . . thats how mine used to be too.. and dont feed it high protein food!! It will get shell curl i guarantee you. Just buy the hikari sinking wafer and drop it first before you drop the worms and shrimps.
