Guess he will end up in your pond!! My one is home alone as there is never a second chance with them. having said that he doesn't chase my hand when I clean the glass.

I bought a 6" little guy about 10 years ago under the name mystus wykii. He killed everthink in a large fish community 125 in less than two weeks. Didnt eat them just killed them. I got pissed and threw him in with my 2' rtc and he almost killed him !!!!!! NASTy fish for sure. Real nice looking though.

Well it seems that there is an agreement that this guy will be nasty no matter what happens...into the pond for him.
I originally set it up to be a ray pool, but it looks like it's going to be a wyckii tank now.

Here's a question for all you wyckii owners:
Are wyckiis less likely to attack surface dwelling fish? I'm debating on picking up a leichardti aro but I don't want this to be an expensive snack for him.
The leichardti is about 9" and the wyckii is about 8".
Any thoughts??

Damn, I'm jealous! Wish I could keep a wickii. oh well, my ARTC will have to do for now... both have bad tempers and kill for the fun of it!

ARTC are very nice fish. A lfs near me has a little guy for like $20. They put him in a tank with some smaller cichlids, and I mentioned to them that it's probably a bad idea. I went there yesterday to get some feeders for my NGTs (stubborn datnoids) and I noticed the little 4" ARTC was now in a 90 gallon with a 12-13" T. butterkoferi, and everytime the ARTC came out, the butti went cowering into the corner...talk about dominance.
