yeah i googled those sailfins and they are gorgeous but definitely look like more of an exhibit lizard rather than a pet lizard, as for the blue-tongued skink those are actually pretty cool lizards they had a pair at this natural science center i used to intern at and they were pretty chill but i think for my situation right now with only having the resources to put towards one new reptile that i would really like to go with the tegu. i dont think rescue will really be an option for me i have looked on petfinder and craigslist and everything and pretty much your lucky to find anything for adoption that is not an iguana or a ball python, but yeah personally i think vanyards price is very fair for an animal that gets as big as it does and with the high needs it has for its housing and care, if only iguanas weren't so cheap then there wouldnt be so many of them in rescue from little kids crying that they want it at the store and the parents giving in.
