Im planning my 2000 gallon build for when I get back from deployment and Im trying to figure out what Im going to stock it with. I want to go with alot of smaller fish in it but would also like one or two really big guys. Anyone have some ideas for a fish that will get nice and big but wont eat all his tank mates?

A type of huge pleco would be safer. But what type of tank you trying to do?

Its going to be a 2000 gallon freshwater as an addition to my house when I move. Im thinking of a school of Balas and some other schooling types but want something big and impressive as well.

how about small africans that would be amazing with a few big ones like fronts

You could always try the Oxydoras niger, one of the well known gentle giants.

i agree with lupin.

id do a niger or two and then 3 or so silver arowanas with some big pbass...
