looking for a big passive fish

I like the idea of Oxydoras niger. I heard mixed word on how aggressive Pacu and Frontosa get. Ive got to keep the wife happy with the look of the tank as well so Im leaning towards some frontosa and a oxydoras. Wouldnt mind more opinions.

big ol pacu. theres others out there besides just the common red and black, so you have an option to find a nice rare pacu too :)

a vast majority are giant, overgrown tetras, and truly are gentle giants. while you do get a few that like to tear it up, alot of species have the odd one out that has a personality different than the norm.

if you couldent tell, im very partial to pacu:headbang2

DO you want something that will swimm around or more of a bottom dweller?

I definately want active fish that will swim around and be visibly appealing. I like the idea of a large number of small schooling fish but want the big boys too. It must be a colorful and peaceful arrangement to keep my wife onboard.
