Looking for a bowfin

I went to another LFS and they had feeder guppies so I bought some of those. Much better size than the relatively large rosies and hopefully the guppies can last longer than a day before they kick the bucket.
Earthworms huh? Any issue with digging some up in the woods near my house? If not, there's a bait shop like 5 minutes from me but I'd rather just get my hands dirty and not have to pay for them.

Wal-Mart usually sells worms in the sporting goods section. They're usually in a little fridge. Along with crickets.
Try massivore.Here's the best pic I can get he's still really skittish, also ate another feeder minnow today. Does anybody have other suggestions for food? It seems like rosie reds are really good at dying and not much else LOL.

My little guy is growing fast, I'd say almost 4.25" long now and voracious when it comes to feeding time. He's eating gutloaded feeder guppies and rosies but didn't seem to impressed with earthworm though he did eventually eat it. I'm probably going to put him into the big tank in a few days as I need the quarantine for some new fish. How are everybody else's doing?

Mine is doing great he is really aggressive as well lol, he doesnt like going after the live food in front of me for some reason but thats ok next day half are gone and u can see hes producing waste so i know hes eating them.
I also have him on live blackworms, frozen shrimp which he loves as well.....
Unfortunately, I'm in PA so crayfish are a no-go
What do you mean? That you can't buy them?
